The "Inhumans": Enter 'Medusa'

Sneak Peek animated footage of Marvel Comics' long-haired 'Medusa' soon to appear in Marvel Studios' developing feature the "Inhumans":

'Medusa' created by writer Stan Lee and illustrator/co-plotter Jack Kirby, debuted in Marvel's "Fantastic Four #36 (1965), belonging to the 'Inhumans', a species mutated by the 'Terrigen Mists' produced under the city-state of 'Attilan', located in the oxygen-rich 'Blue Area of the Moon'.

During her adolescent years Medusa would often visit her distant cousin 'Black Bolt' learning to communicate with him through body language.

During the course of these visits, the two fell in love and became engaged, witnessing a psychotic confrontation between Black Bolt and his insane brother 'Maximus the Mad'.

Medusa possesses long hair, with every strand containing tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and shear resistance similar to iron wire of the same thickness.

She also possesses the psychokinetic ability to animate her hair for a number of feats, including elongating it to almost twice its normal length, as well as using her hair to lift and move heavy weight, up to 1.6 tons.
