"Avengers: Age Of Ultron" Updates

Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige was recently asked about a solo, stand-alone "Hulk" movie, starring actor Mark Ruffalo as 'ol greenskin', following his appearance in "Avengers: Age Of Ultron".

"We have been discussing after 'Avengers' what that would be, what that would look like", said Feige.

"It’s really Mark Ruffalo's portrayal of 'Bruce Banner', in the way Joss Whedon brought him to life in 'Avengers' ...

"...all of the effort related to Hulk right know is going to 'Age of Ultron'. It’s exciting, because he hasn’t been in any other film, so you can expect to have a lot of 'Bruce Banner' and 'Hulk' in 'Age of Ultron'. Where do we go after that ?

"We’ll see. It will be a little while before we figure that out but, we do think there’s plenty of opportunities with the 'Ruffalo Banner'."

In the animated feature "Planet Hulk", an out-of-control 'Hulk' is banished into space on the orders of the 'Illuminati', a secret order that includes 'Doctor Strange', 'Black Bolt' (of 'The Inhumans') 'Charles Xavier', 'Reed Richards', 'Namor' and 'Iron Man', becoming an unbeatable gladiatorial champion on an alien world.

"...superheroes hatch a plot to get the 'Hulk' off of Earth, as 'Iron Man' is worried about Hulk running amok and losing control.

"After plotting with 'Nick Fury' to subdue the Hulk, Iron Man places him in a spaceship charted for an uninhabited planet.

"When he awakens on board the shuttle realizing he had been abducted, the Hulk goes into a fit of rage and breaks his restraints, causing enough damage for the craft to veer off course.

"Trapped in a wormhole, the shuttle crashes onto the world of 'Sakaar'.

"Hulk quickly finds himself imprisoned along with 'Hiroim', 'Korg', 'Miek', 'Elloe Kaifi' and the android 'Lavin Skee, all forced to fight for freedom in arena gladiator combat..."

Confirmed upcoming Marvel Studios' features include "Thor: The Dark World", November 8, 2013, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", April 4, 2014, "Guardians of the Galaxy", August 1, 2014, "The Avengers: Age of Ultron", May 1, 2015 and "Ant-Man", November 6, 2015, with "Doctor Strange" and "Black Panther", TBA.
