More Marvel "One-Shot" Movies

Take another look @ all of the "Marvel One-Shot" films to date:

Marvel One-Shots' are produced by Marvel Studios, set within the 'Marvel Cinematic Universe', included as special features in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Blu-ray releases.

"It's a fun way to experiment with new characters and ideas," said One-Shot co-producer Brad Winderbaum, "but more importantly it's a way for us to expand the 'Marvel Cinematic Universe' and tell stories that live outside the plot of our features."

"There’s always a potential to introduce a character, " said Marvel's Louis D'Esposito.

"We have 8,000 of them, and they can’t all be at the same level. So maybe there are some that are not so popular, and we introduce them - and they take off. I could see that happening".

Marvel One-Shots include:

"The Consultant" (2011), released on the "Thor" Blu-ray 3D, directed by Leythum and written by Eric Pearson, with music by Paul Oakenfold, featuring footage from the 2008 film "The Incredible Hulk".

"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer" (2011)  released on the "Captain America: The First Avenger" Blu-ray, also directed by Leythum and written by Eric Pearson, with music by Paul Oakenfold.

"Item 47", released on "The Avengers" (2012) Blu-ray, directed by D’Esposito and written by Eric Pearson, starring actors Jesse Bradford and Lizzy Caplan, as a down-on-their-luck couple who find a discarded alien 'Chitauri' gun referred to as 'Item 47'.
